Resize PAN Card Photo and Signature Online

PAN Card Resizer helps you prepare a photo or signature for the application method on your PAN form. Choose Photo for a portrait crop, Signature for a wider frame, or Custom for your own dimensions and file-size limit.

When resizing your PAN card photo, start with a clear original and keep your entire face visible. The PAN card signature resizer keeps a wide crop so you can leave space around every stroke. Inspect the preview before saving; eSign currently supports preview only.

How to Use the PAN Card Resizer

  1. Choose your method and image. Match eSign or DSC to your application form, then select a JPG or PNG. Do not choose a different method simply to enable downloads.
  2. Crop and resize. Keep your face or signature inside the frame, with clear space around the edges. PAN Card Resizer shows a preview so you can check the crop before saving.
  3. Inspect the result. Check clarity at actual size and review the file details. Download when available, then check the requirements on your destination portal.

NSDL PAN Photo Resize Requirements

For NSDL PAN photo resize, match the submission method first: scanned-image eSign and DSC use different settings. Aadhaar e-KYC may use the Aadhaar photograph instead of requesting an image upload.

PAN Card Photo Size

PAN Card Photo Size by application method
Application methodDimensionsFormat / DPIFile limit
Protean eSign (Scanned Images) 197 × 276 pxProvisional target JPEGDPI not validated Max 50 KB
Protean DSC 197 × 276 px JPEG200 DPI Max 20 KB

PAN Card Signature Size

PAN Card Signature Size by application method
Application methodDimensionsFormat / DPIFile limit
Protean eSign (Scanned Images) 354 × 157 pxProvisional target JPEGDPI not validated Max 50 KB
Protean DSC 354 × 157 px JPEG200 DPI Max 10 KB

eSign pixel targets and DPI remain provisional, and downloads are disabled. DSC file checks reflect configured specifications, not completed official-portal acceptance testing.

Check PAN card photo size and PAN card signature size separately. A file that meets one limit may still have the wrong crop, format or dimensions for the other.

Why Use This PAN Card Resizer?

PAN Card Resizer processes images locally in your browser, without an account or image upload. Exported JPEGs are re-read to check dimensions, file size and DPI, and source metadata is removed.

The PAN card photo resizer and signature mode keep the crop suited to each image. Custom lets you choose different settings when your form requires them, but passing local file checks does not guarantee portal acceptance.

PAN Card Resizer FAQ

Which preset should I choose for NSDL / Protean?

Choose the preset that matches the method named on your NSDL / Protean application form: scanned-image eSign or DSC. Do not switch to DSC just because eSign export is unavailable.

Can I upload PNG or HEIC images?

JPG, JPEG and PNG are supported, up to 10 MB. Export HEIC or HEIF as JPEG or PNG first. Transparent PNG areas become white in JPEG output.

What if my photo is blurry or too small?

Use a clearer original where possible. A PAN photo resizer cannot recover detail missing from the original. Enlarging an image may make it look softer; inspect your face at actual size before submitting it.

Does a passed file check guarantee acceptance?

No. The portal may apply additional rules. Check your application method and the exact rejection message. Avoid sending sensitive identity documents when asking for help.
