What Is PAN Card Resizer?

PAN Card Resizer is a free browser-based image editor for people preparing a PAN application. It brings cropping, resizing and compression into one place. You can work on a portrait photograph, a wide signature image, or an image with your own output settings. No account is needed to use the editor.

The tool prepares image files only. It does not issue PAN cards, retrieve application records, verify your identity or submit an application. You keep control of the original and decide whether the finished image is suitable for the form you are completing.

Why We Built This Tool

A photograph can look clear on a phone and still be the wrong shape or file size for an application. A signature can fit a preview while losing important strokes at its edges. The purpose of this tool is to make those file-preparation steps easier to inspect, without requiring a full desktop image editor.

Different application methods can have different requirements. Rather than present one setting as suitable for every PAN form, the editor separates the available presets and shows when a setting still needs verification. A local file check and acceptance by an application portal are different things.

How PAN Card Resizer Works

Select a supported image from your device, choose the relevant mode and frame the content. Photo and Signature use differently shaped crops. Custom lets you choose between cropping, resizing, both together, or keeping the original dimensions, with JPEG or PNG output and an optional file-size limit.

Before saving, inspect the result at actual size. The export path checks the applicable dimensions, format, file size and JPEG resolution metadata. These checks cannot judge whether a face is recognisable or every signature stroke is readable. Enlarging a small original cannot recreate detail that was never captured.

eSign is currently preview-only while its export settings await official-portal validation. DSC exports use the configured specification, but official upload acceptance has not been verified. Choose the method on your application form, not another method simply because its download is available.

Privacy and Image Processing

The current editor processes selected images locally in your browser. It does not send them to an image-processing server or store an editing history in a site account. A downloaded result is a separate file; editing does not overwrite the original on your device.

Local processing is not the same as control over your device, browser extensions, downloads or cloud backups. Emailing support and choosing a sharing destination are separate actions with separate data handling. Read the Privacy Policy for those boundaries before using sensitive material.
